Excellent breakfasts using home grown produce. Friendly staff. Away from tourists areas yet convenient for beaches, towns, when required.

It would have been good to have some shelter from the wind when sitting out at this time of year.

The location is very good. While being somewhat isolated, it's still near the coast and services you might need. The owners are very friendly and care about your comfort, you don't feel like just another face, but as a personal guest. Very good breakfasts, where you can enjoy local products, which they grow in their gardens (fruits, herbs). It's quiet and peaceful. The rooms have kitchenettes for you to cook or heat food. The owners care about environmental sustainability and make good efforts to minimize ecological impacts.

The owners will fix you something to eat if you need, but because this resort invites you to stay there the whole day, it could be an added bonus to offer dinner (even if just a light snack) on a regular basis (at an extra cost, obviously). There will be days when you will not want to leave the resort at all, not even for shopping, so, the lack of dinner is not exactly something I didn't like about Monte da Bravura, but something I see as room for improvement in an already excellent offer.

Actually, everything. The place, the staff, the breakfast food, the comfort, the extra big bed, the cleanliness, the view, the fact that it’s in the mountain, the surroundings, the sense of belonging to the simple important things of life, seeing all the natural productive things been done there, the owners availability and interest, the decoration with all old restored things, the architecture. I really like everything. The weather didn’t allow me to use the two beautiful swimming pools and go for a bike ride through the mountains, but I’ll return.
